Ha ha… maybe I have watched too many ghost or vampire movies lately, hence the dramatic heading. But regardless of the fiction, the reality is that we are surrounded by too many "walking dead" people.
Look around you. So many individuals simply go through the motions, passively clocking in and out from Monday to Friday. For many students, obtaining a degree or qualification is merely an automated checkbox to tick, rather than a genuine pursuit of true meaning.
It is time to start truly living and stop behaving like the walking dead. If your current daily work isn't actively bringing you closer to your deep ambitions or passions, take action now. Otherwise, you will inevitably look back one day with deep regret, thinking, "I wish I had just tried this or that!"
Everyone desires massive wealth because they mistakenly believe it is the ultimate, catch-all solution to life’s problems. But can you name a single person who doesn't face structural challenges in life? Even someone as incredibly wealthy as Bill Gates has his own mountain of problems. Wealth does not buy a problem-free existence.
So, what are you actually going to do with your current job or studies?
Find a clear purpose and commit to it wholeheartedly. Whatever happens next, let it happen for a deep reason. Whether the outcome is good or bad, it is ultimately up to us to twist the situation around using the incredible five-pound muscle in our heads—a magnificent tool created by a Higher Being who loves us deeply and made us in His very image.
Value your life, respect your time, and make it the absolute best it can be.
