Solitaire Night with a cup of Pu-er Tea

Hundreds of years ago, I wonder… maybe someone just like me was sitting in the deep, dark night, enjoying a cup of Pu-erh while writing down their thoughts and feelings. He may have used paper and ink, while I use a keyboard—and who knows, in the many years to come, I wonder if someone else will be doing the same on a cold night like tonight.

It has been a hectic journey since 2009, and today is my very first true day off. Yet again, technology never leaves me alone, as I still receive messages regarding work matters.

My job environment allows me to see many faces and walks of life. Their stories always remind me that we tend to lose the true track of life by running and chasing off-track into the materialistic world.

Young kids have tons of homework and heavy schedules of tuition, while adults keep chasing month-end targets without ever spending time to take a true reflection on the meaning of life.

Coming back to my tea…

My first brew of tea was just right. But my second brew is bitter, as I got too caught up in typing here and overlooked the brewing time. It is the same with life… how I am merely "surviving" rather than truly "living"… sigh… how I miss the good old days.

I never like "today"—it is so cold in the faces of all people.

I wonder where all those warm smiles and friendly looks have gone?

I never like "today"—it is all about status, money, and who’s who.

I wonder who will really care once we are gone?

In contrast...

I like "today's" technology for allowing us to reach so many and helping us stay in touch.

I wonder, will this all make us a better society?

I like "today's" new thinking, as the liberation of thought and sharing are far easier now.

I wonder, will this make us more civilized, or will we remain the same old barbarians?

Let us stop for a while and enjoy a cup of tea. Let us have some reflection and deep thoughts about our lives.

Ignorance and violence will only make us all fail as mankind, and civilization will no longer serve any meaning

Seiko chronograph 6138 and others

After 15 years of collecting watches,most of my collections comes and goes only those who have fate are destiny to stay like friends some use to be be close but after awhile some dont know where, maybe this is life.

After all I will miss my Rolex 6694, GMT 16750, Explorer 2, Omega speedmaster, Omega seamaster day date, Omega Dynamic, Omega seamaster Geneve, Omega seamaster Jedi, Seiko world time, Seiko alarm, Orient King Diver, Brand X, Fortis cosmonaut (lemania 5100), Seiko Orange Monster, Seiko 6138 UFO, West End Company, Pagol, Titoni Airmaster, Election, Mido multifort and... wow just like recalling friends list some can remember but some don't.

I wonder how many people out there have the same experience like me get to know people and close for some time after that it seems gone by the wind. Do you call this fate?
